DESCRIPTION

A statuesque vintage glass ewer rises from a clear circular foot into a full teardrop body, slender teal neck, and dramatically curled pouring lip. A clear applied handle sweeps from shoulder to rim with a twisted, rippling texture that catches the light. The saturated blue-green body deepens toward its widest point, creating a rich pool of color above the clear stem.

WORTH NOTING

An aged oval foil label on the body reads “Imported by Banff Products Corp., New York, N.Y.” The piece is open at the top and no stopper is shown. Its hand-shaped character is visible in the fluid contours and applied glass elements; “blown glass” comes from the source description and has not been independently authenticated.

CONDITION

Vintage pre-owned condition with scattered scratches and surface marks, dark residue or label remnants on the teal body, and wear and losses to the foil label. The underside of the clear foot shows scratching. No obvious large chip or crack is visible in the supplied photos, but the vessel has not been inspected in hand.
